We didn’t have time to go and see the rest of the city, ( which is what we really wanted to see) as we were told to get back to the coach. Included in the price of the ticket was entry to Kourion and Kolossi castle, but as I’m a pensioner, I don’t pay for entry to the government sponsored historical sites!”

Our guide and Divemaster, Jurgen, is one of the most amazing and friendly people you will ever meet. His knowledge of diving and the park is invaluable. He is incredibly amiable and helpful. One part of this could be almost anywhere in a city - but then we cross Paphos Gate through into the Northern part (passport required!) and the difference is clear. We explored some fascinating areas - and discussed the history. I’m not a big shopper (but if you are there are plenty of fascinating shops)…”
